Article 2
                                   
     The Parties shall develop cooperation in the field of information
technologies as follows:
     - exchanging information related to shaping and implementation of
state policy in the field of information technologies;
     -  exchanging  experience  in  the  area  of national programs of
information   technologies  development  implemented  in  the  Russian
Federation and the Syrian Arab Republic;
     -  exchanging  experience  in  development  of  technologies  for
rendering information society services;
     - exchanging information in the field of developing e-trade.
