МЕЖДУ ПРАВИТЕЛЬСТВОМ РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ И ПРАВИТЕЛЬСТВОМ ИСЛАНДИИ ОБ УПРОЩЕНИИ ВЫДАЧИ ВИЗ ГРАЖДАНАМ РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ И ИСЛАНДИИ. Соглашение. Правительство РФ. 24.09.08

Article 3
                             Definitions

     For the purpose of this Agreement:
     a)  "Citizen  of the Russian Federation" shall mean a person, who
possesses  or  has  acquired  citizenship of the Russian Federation in
accordance with its national legislation.
     b) "Citizen of Iceland" shall mean a person, who possesses or has
acquired  citizenship  of  Iceland  in  accordance  with  its national
legislation.
     c)  "Visa"  shall  mean  an  authorization/permission issued or a
decision  taken  by  the  Russian  Federation  or  by Iceland which is
required with a view to:
     - entry  for an intended stay of no more than 90 days in total in
the Russian Federation or in Iceland,
     - entry   for  transit  through  the  territory  of  the  Russian
Federation or of Iceland.
     d) "legally residing person" shall mean:
     - for the Russian Federation, a citizen of Iceland who acquired a
permission   for   temporary   residing,  a  residence  permit  or  an
educational  or  working visa for a period of more than 90 days in the
Russian Federation;
     - for  Iceland, a citizen of the Russian Federation authorized or
entitled to stay for more than 90 days in the territory of Iceland, on
the basis of national legislation.
     e)  "Schengen  Member  State"  shall  mean any state applying the
Schengen  acquis in full within the meaning of the Agreement of 18 May
1999  concluded  by the Council of the European Union and the Republic
of Iceland and the Kingdom of Norway concerning their Association with
the  implementation,  application  and  development  of  the  Schengen
Acquis.
