Article 38
1. No worker shall be employed in dock work unless he has been
given adequate instruction or training as to the potential risks
attaching to his work and the main precautions to be taken.
2. A lifting appliance or other cargo-handling appliance shall be
operated only by a person who is at least 18 years of age and who
possesses the necessary aptitudes and experience or a person under
training who is properly supervised.
