Article 1
                          Scope of application
                                   
     1.  The  provisions of this Agreement related to the notification
of  nuclear  accidents  and exchange of information shall apply to the
facilities  and activities referred to in Article 1 of the Convention,
as  well as to the events mentioned in Article 2, Paragraph 2 and 3 of
this Agreement.
     2.  The  provisions  of this Agreement related to the exchange of
information  about  nuclear  facilities  shall apply to the facilities
defined  by  the  Parties. The list of nuclear facilities which is the
subject  of  information  exchange  shall  be  defined  jointly by the
Competent  Authorities  stated  in  Article  5,  Paragraph  1  of  the
Agreement  in  the  course of development of measures to implement the
obligations   resulting  from  the  Agreement.  The  list  of  nuclear
facilities  shall  be  updated  in case of construction of new nuclear
facility or facilities.
